We loved our stay at Canto’s. The chalet is equipped with what you need for a short stay. Great cot for our baby and a lovely baby towel too. The best part is the garden! We didn’t have breakfast or use the facilities, unfortunately we had bad weather during our Furnas stay. Could have done with the bins being emptied daily as a minimum rather than having to ask.

This is a very nice place to stay. The hotel has its own garden and nice pool. They only have 8 units and very quiet.

Highly recommended as a comfy, convenient, modern accommodation option… I’d say the best in Furnas.

Loved that it was quiet and off the beaten path but still central. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts were just lovely. Heads up that if you are checking in after 4pm, they will send a message via expedia with check-in procedures.

Our house was wonderful. Very clean. My son sleeps in the sleeper sofa and we slept upstairs. The kitchen is very comfortable. We bought some things at the local grocery store and used the fridge. We tried the sauna, the bithermal shower and the jaccuzi. All wonderful after a long day exploring. The staff was incredibly useful and helpful. We asked for a late check out and it was not possible. But we were offered to use the spa shower if we needed to after our soak in the thermal baths. The only less good point was the smell I. The house, especially upstairs. Maybe there is a ventilation setting we didn’t find. It smelled of damp (the house was not damp at all though). We got used to it after a minute so so. Again the staff goes above and beyond and the location is perfect.

Overall, the property and stay were wonderful! The pools and hot tub were great, the gardens beautiful. The apartment was so stylish and beautifully designed. For those reading reviews to decide if they should book based on the bed type - it's a spring mattress, quite firm. It was comfortable, but not 'super comfortable'. I like a firm and supportive pillow.. these were softer and less supportive. The sofa bed for our son was fine for him, however, if you're a parent who may need to join in the night - it's not comfortable. unfortunately. The blackout blinds were GREAT. The kitchen was just enough for making breakfast and prepping our lunch for our daily outing. We didn't cook dinner here, but you could, it would just be a bit more simple, since there are only two cooktops. The dedicated parking was great. Overall, it was a lovely stay and the owners of the property are so kind and sweet.

Wonderful getaway.

From the moment of arrival - we were impressed by the striking architecture and park setting. The staff and owners were welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive; ample breakfasts were delicious; and the location ideal for walks and scenic drives. Our own private residence – clean, modern, and roomy with well equipped kitchen, easy access to the lovely pool and sauna made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. We appreciated the excellent beds, generous towels, lovely views, and wonderful access for nature walks in the private park. We so enjoyed this peaceful and lovely lodging for our Furnas visit.

This property was amazing. It went above and beyond our expectations. We got the whole little bunkie to ourselves and it had everything we needed. The pool was a welcome cooler option from the thermal baths in the area, and the staff there are very friendly and helpful. This was my favourite stay on the island, and one of my favourite hotels of all time.
