Brand new place, beautiful property and the restaurant was great!!! The rooms are pretty bare, no chairs to sit in and no rack to hang clothes, however we made it work and the staff was very accommodating. The pools are beautiful! They currently have access to beach across the street via a different hotel but we felt more comfortable doing a day pass at a more private place down the road. Once they can have their own private beach we would love to be back.

Beautiful resort maintained and impeccable. Staff is attentive and very professional. Food is excellent. Feedback would be need better coffee service in morning, rooms has nothing in them to hang up a dress or dress clothes and needs a dresser. However, room is very clean great AC. Showers had no hot water. We will 100% be back I know it’s a new hotel.

My stay was overall good, but there were some issues. This place is supposed to be somewhere you can go and feel safe with your family. I went with my wife and my young child, and at night there was a group of men at the pools who were extremely drunk—shouting, breaking glasses and bottles. The bar staff kept serving them more drinks despite their bad behavior. On the other hand, the service and facilities were excellent.

El servicio del restaurante es de muy mala calidad las intalaciones estan limpias pero wl menu es limitado no hay variedad de cervezas y quieren que consuma lo que ellos tienen lastima de hotel porque la intalacion es bonita limpia pero sus empleados del restaurante en de mal gusto no lo recomiendo

No existe coordinacion entre la recepcion y el restaurante, te quieren cobrar mas, cuando ya lo pagaste, el desayuno pesimo y no te dicen que cargar la cuenta del restaurante a la habitacion, significa que antes de hacer el Check out debes ir hasta el restaurante a pagar la cuenta y despues regresar a la recepcion a hacer el check out, 3 momentos de malas experiencias en menos de 24 horas, no sirve q se disculpen, las cosas se hacen bien a la primera, mas bien parece mala intención.

Terrible. Mi cuarto se inmundo por una filtración y mi ropa se mojo. La comida descompuesta si bien es cierto me la cambiaron y no la cobraron. Fatal toda la experiencia en este hotel. Perdi la otra noche reservada por que no tenia ropa.

The facilities are new & have a very nice modern feel. However, the rooms are lacking because there is no mini fridge, no chairs, no table, no hangers to hang clothes & no iron for those of us who would like to iron our own clothing. The pools are a little weird because they have these huge planters in the middle of them which really don’t allow for you to swim freely. Another issue I have is that the big pool side beds that provide shade and relaxation get taken by the people who pay for day passes and not the people who actually pay to stay at the resort overnight. The breakfast was just OK. They only had scrambled eggs with pork sausage in them and I don’t eat pork, and when I requested to have another type of egg, the lady told me to eat pancakes . Finally, a gentleman said that they could make eggs for us on the side, but my husband was told that all he could get was 2 eggs. It’s a buffet style, but it’s not an all you can eat buffet. Don’t get me wrong, we don’t eat a lot, but we felt that they were very stingy with the portions. The property is on the bay side, so in order to get to the beach you have to walk through Bahia del Sol Resort. We thought that it would be nice because it’s supposed to be a prestigious resort, but it was really a hot mess. It was dirty & it was overcrowded with a lot of drunk people. Overall Astra is a nice place to relax & the food from the main restaurant for lunch and dinner is gourmet & excellent. They just need to improve a few things

Nice, new, modern, clean hotel. The room need furniture besides the beds. Will be great to have more than one pillow per guest. The complementary Breakfast is included just for two people, not for all the guest depite the rate your pay por three o four.

As a person that only speaks English it waa very hard to communicate
