Buxton Crescent

Buxton Crescent

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel, great spa facilities, lovely room, with some noise as the bottles from nearby bars and restaurants are emptied when your room is at the back of the hotel. You do have to pay extra at the hotel when using the spa facilities if your booking is through Expedia. This is £40 per day, which is not made obvious at all. Parking is on the street, of £30 per day at the hotel. But street parking along the Crescent is free. "

"We stayed for three nights. There was absolutely no service, no cleaning at all, and remnants of the previous guest’s trash were still in the room. My body broke out in severe hives from the very first night, which gradually worsened. Considering the price we paid, the service was extremely poor."

"Nice hotel near city centre, nearby parking is in train station multi story car park £8 weekends but it’s a 10 minute walk away from hotel. "It doesn't help that hotels.com use a different grading for rooms to the hotels own website so I didn't actually get the type of room I was expecting. Other than that a perfectly good stay other than with the room bath not having a plug they had to give me a key to a 2nd room as they were unable to find a spare bath plug"
