If you need a cheap, safe place to stay for a short visit to Tbilisi, this place isn't bad. Buses stop right out front. I would not go here to relax, though. It's far from a comfy "home base" for traveling in Tbilisi.
The capsules were clean enough. Staff friendly enough.
In the bar area, it was not clear, at 10 PM, who the hell I was supposed to pay if I wanted a beer. There's a fridge with prices posted. Cool. So do I go out the door, down the walkway, down the stairs, down a hall to reception to ask to buy a beer? Maybe make it a vending machine???
The whole place seemed grungy. I had this feeling of existential unease the whole time I was there. Everyone was polite and all that, but I just felt ill at ease the whole time.
It's a good central location.
It felt like people have been living there for some time. There are laundry racks in various crannies of the place. Fair enough if you're backpacking in Tbilisi for a couple of weeks, but something gave me a dystopian vibe.
