4/10 – Redelijk

Nice location, NO Value for money.
The location of the hotel is very nice and somewhat remote. The hotel has its own private bay with beach. The sea is very wild, not wild enough to surf but dangerous to swim in! Last week someone drowned here. We spoke to a number of local people and these indicated that people drowned here regularly. The Hotel is built against a mountain, not suitable for less-abled people. There is no communal pool available. Please note when you're booking a room. We booked a room in low season without a pool because it is a VIP ACCESS hotel and hoping we were upgraded. Despite the fact that there were only 12 guests in total, we did not receive an upgrade. Since we could not swim in the sea and the room was very small, we upgraded ourselves. All current hotel deals could not be used for our upgrade. We had to pay the full amount for the upgrade (now special offers). NO Value for money. The hotel has 1 restaurant, which is very expensive. Our booking did not include breakfast. A standard breakfast comes for 2 people including 4 cups of coffee at about $ 50. This includes 15% tax and 10% service fee. Tip for an affordable breakfast: order only the supplements offered at the bottom of the breakfast menu. Here you have limited choice, but it's affordable. Walk to Gigante Bay (15 minute walk), there you have normal prices and friendly people! Dinner is even more expensive! Poor housekeeping, towels were taken away but no new laid back. Poor maintenance of the rooms
