Nice hotel and nice staff. Clean and modern. Spacious room with all the usual ammenities. Quite noisy though in the rooms, plus the fire alarm went off at midnight walking everyone up and no explanation from the hotel at the time or in the morning either. Great location. Only negative was the car park, no free parking and it was £25 for 24 hours but most places in Cardiff are that prive.

Writing as a wheelchair user. All the staff were very helpful, kind and polite. The room was comfortably large and well laid out, as was the bathroom. Beautifully clean. Only problems, as usual, was the heavy fire doors! Bed was comfortable. Would happily come back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, this was not my original hotel, I booked here at very short notice due to our original hotel booking not being adequate given this majestic hotels was stunning! Bed was comfortable and a large space. Staff checked us in very quick and we was provided with information regarding the hotel. Location was so convient as we was attending a concert at utilita. Everything was in walking distance. Only confusion was parking and we ended up parking in Marriott.

Rooms were clean and bathroom was very modern and clean. The entrance to the hotel and reception area was very misleading because when you got to your room it was very outdated and not really what you’d expect when you walked in . The room could have done with a window as it smelt like damp washing due to lack of ventilation. Aircon and heating both worked fine but really could do with natural air into the room . Overall an okay hotel but could realistically do with a renovation and modernisation in all areas

Booked in the afternoon for the same day - when arrived staff said they can’t take same day bookings this is after they had taken my money. Staff were rude,unhelpful and it was generally poor. Had to argue that I had booked and paid for the room even though I had a receipt.

I checked into this hotel and I was informed they were going through a changing phase and everything was a mess. Subsequently I paid for an executive room but was given a standard room, only after complaining I was given the room I pre paid for. The staff on the reception and bar staff were all very uninterested to show any kind of service. The breakfast was cold and boring. The hotel and rooms need some updating and DIY. A very sub standard hotel, I will not book again with them.
