The place is cute and no hassle and the staff is very kind and accommodating, and I love how they went to so much trouble to find all the things I have to do with fishing cause I was in the trout cabin and all the decorations were so adorable! I wish I could’ve stayed tonight, but it was booked

Cute rustic cabin. SUPER CLEAN!!! I have stayed in 5-star hotels that were not any cleaner! Anna the cabin manager was amazing, great communication and was super quick and helpful for the couple of small things we needed. We would definitely stay again!

Went with family overnight. The pull out sofas were not comfortable at all, the lady Cleaning the cabins seemed like the only employee. She was super sweet.

Place was nice enough. Fire place heater worked great. We brought food to cook since there was a stove but no oven mits, never got hot enough to cook and had to nuke it so we didnt need them anyway. They had an old book from the previous owners of check out procedures but no dish soap towels or scrubs to do the dishes. I messaged the host and they came with the missing items. Worth the price we got for the night.

Very cute little rustic cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for. We had arrived a couple hours before the check in time but were not able to contact anyone for early check in. But once we got our cabin we were very pleased. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had almost all basics. The bathroom is a little too small but was stocked up with necessities.The cabin is very close to downtown and also pretty close to the lake. They also allow dog. It is also very close to RMNP. Would love to stay in it again.

It is an old property but well maintained and very clean. The property manager was super helpful and very friendly. The location was great, a couple of blocks into the heart of downtown. Maybe because it was just outside of downtown, or maybe because it was older, or maybe because it lacked a pool, but the price was very reasonable for the area. I would highly recommend for the traveler that just needs a clean, quiet place to stay.

Clean room! Close to Grand Lake Village! Rustic feel! We enjoyed ourselves! Queen size bed was very comfortable! The room had fans to plug in (for summer)! Bring an extension cord to plug in - so fans can move (be placed) where needed! Nice place and get away!

Easy check-in and out, small, no air conditioning; only a gas stow for heating, need to keep windows open for airflow and oxygen. Not suitable for a long stay. Cleanliness is great, especially for such an old place.

The quality of the residence is poor compared to the price charged. This is a very old building. The amenities are old. The place where we were given the room was right next to a dumpster.

This place has great potential and could have been a better experience with very minor improvements. The cabinets and table were sticky and dirty, the kitchen utensils were mostly missing, pans were almost useless because of their condition. Less than a $500 investment could easily be recouped in less than a year with a modest increase in rent.

Elk cabin was adorable. Easy to access, staff polite and fruendly. Layout of cabin was perfect. Nice kitchen, couches, bed very hard. Although I enjoyed our stay here and I'm not a picky person, I must point out these issues. There were a nunber of safety issues within this cabin. The tile and floor leading into the tiny bathrrom was broken and falling in. The dishes and pots and pans were not fully clean, There were a few outlets that didnt function and all were very old and loose. Plugs barely stayed in outlets. They appear to be renovating the office and hopefully will address these issues in cabin. Making this a quaint little place.

Cabin was clean and neat. Staff asked if we need additional bedding stuff. They City market just beside the property. Only thing they should mention clearly on listing that AC is not available and they should provide table fans instead of small fan in bedroom.

It was a convenient location but very out dated and in need of basic maintenance. Upgraded outlets would have been nice. It was difficult it get an average plug to stay in the outlet. Bed and pillows were very nice but I’m glad we didn’t have anyone who needed to sleep on the futon ….. We would not stay there again, I’m sorry to say.

Won't recommend this property to anyone. The cabin did not have basic amenities like toilet paper. The office did not respond to our requests and we had to buy toilet paper ourselves from the market. Overall terrible experience

Pros: This cabin is perfect for a few nights, has a full kitchen, and enough space to spread out. Walkable to downtown and the lake. Very quiet and cozy. Cons: I didnt receive any checkin instructions and there’s no clear indication how to check in at the “office,” which was locked. It took 30min to get someone on the phone once I’d already arrived. I also could not figure out the fireplace, and didn’t see instructions. Many of the notes in the binder are outdated.
