Lovely hotel with super friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable with some Swedish flare.
Breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced (bearing in mind Stockholm can break the bank for food and drinks)
Located on Stockholms longest straight road, leading down to the islands of Gamla Stan and Djurgarden, it has a metro station within 50m (or within a block - for American readers) that connects to central station.
The only downside for some might be the speedway that the road turns into at night. We sat for drinks on friday on the terrace, watcing Lamborgini’s, Audi’s, Harleys zoom past. Nice to watch. We were highly amused when a big old American car curb crawlled past driven by what looked like a member of Zz Top, door open with neon lit door rims, playing whitney housten.
That said we could hear the cars from the top floor but it did not stop us sleeping. The show to watch was fun
Don’t let that put you off, be aware of it but the atmosphere of the hotel, the peace and quiet inside, the staff and the rooms were lovely. We would stay here again and I definitely recommend it.
