In itself, a very pleasurable hotel and should not receive a low rating. But, I have to. The hotel did not meet its first important goal: making guests feel at home. It would be nice if next time no belongings would be taken from our room. An Apple iPhone charger cable was stolen from our suitcase and believe it or not even a pair of clean new socks was stolen the next day, again from our suitcase. And no, we did not just misplaced the charger and socks, they were really taken from our suitcase. We couldn't believe at first. After the charger cable was taken we didn’t want to report it because it is a heavy accusation right? Although there was no other explanation of why a charging cable gets separated from the non-UK plug and disappears while the non-usable Dutch plug remains behind. The next day a pair of clean and brand new socks which was on top of the clothing in the suitcase was apparently also too tempting. So there was no other option left to report it. Google the tripadvisor reviews and you find more exact the same experiences from other travelers. After discussion with the hotel manager we got refunded but the experience remains bad.
IHG, to which the hotel belongs advertises: “At IHG, we’re committed to delivering True Hospitality for everyone. We believe in making you feel welcome and valued”. Well, they ignored my call to contact me and refused to accept a mild review on their hotel three times, So off it goes to to here, be warned.
