We checked in late after a football game in Knoxville. When we got to the room and got settled in, we noticed stink bugs and Asian lady bugs on the wall and ceiling. I then started looking and noticed probably 40-50 bugs total. I cleaned them up off the ceiling and walls and called the front desk. He was perplexed and eventually offered us to move to the suite directly above ours, I asked for the key to check the room first, as it turns out it was worse than our current room. Bugs, spiders over the ceiling- at least 50 in the room. I told the front desk it was gross and they offered nothing more. We decided to stay in current room. I woke up the next morning with several new bugs on the ceiling. Upon check out , they merely told us sorry and they would send up maintenance- like that mattered to us at this point. The sad thing is that we stay at this hotel somewhat regularly during the fall, but I doubt we will again. They had an opportunity to move us to a room without these problems, and they chose not to do anything. I don’t think we will take a chance on poor customer service again. If there is a problem, I give grace if a solution is found, in this case they just said sorry. It was gross.
