We always stay at this hotel when in Ashkelon! The staff always helps and the breakfast is amazing. Views of the sea help too… The marina is basically between the building and the sea so easy to walk to.

Good place to stay near the beach in Ashkelon

Very good location (right across the beach and close to marina), servicies, and very helpfull staff. Great selection for the buffet breakfast. The prices was reasonable for the service and location. The facilities were a bit old, but that was the only minus. This is certainly the best place to stay in Ashkelon, if you want to be by the beach and not in the downtown (away from the beach).

Hotel is in excellent position and really spacious. However, room needs a spruce up - paint, tiling Sheets too small for bed. Some staff not that friendly or helpful but others (1 at reception and dining room staff were lovely)

Family Vacation-Hotel needs to improve

The hotel is in a state of renovation. There is work that needs to be done. Breakfast was great. Bathrooms were ok. Lobby was comfortable and pretty. Carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced. We were a huge group and overall enjoyed but there are things that need to be fixed up.

Ok. not more than that.

We needed a last minute place to stay. chose Tamara for its proximity to the beach. it good decent reviews too, so we chose it. The hotel is OK. not more than that. Breakfast is relatively large but not so appetizing. The bathroom was ok but when you look at the details, it could use touch ups. the staff was not very happy to be there... Not a hotel I will come back to if I have other options.

Not a healthy hotel

The room had mold around the sink and countertops. The electrical outlets were unstable and loose, and there was only one usable plug which made it inconvenient and difficult to keep our electronics charged. There was only breakfast served and we were unable to eat in the hotel other times. Some of the light switches did not work.

my family and I stayed here before my wedding. we took around 10 rooms. The staff were poorly trained and unhelpful. My elderly mother was disappointed with many things such as the helpfulness and the fact that they didn't come and clean the rooms. The bathrooms in the rooms needing upgrading. In fact we kept getting locked in by mistake. Additionally the room keys hardly ever worked meaning constant trips to the reception.

Unterhalb des Standard, nicht gepflegtes Hotel.

Das Hotel Leonardo ist zum großen Teil Langzeit vermietet. Man schaut auf Balkone die vom Kühlschrank bis zum Lagerplatz genutzt werden, sowie mit eigenen Möbeln dekoriert wurden. Obwohl ich ein Executive Zimmer, Etage 9 - 11 gebucht hatte, wurde ich von offensichtlich Aushilfspersonal in den 6 Stock verfrachtet. Nach Reklamation stellt sich heraus das die gebuchte Kategorie nicht verfügbar war. Sehr schlecht organisiert, noch nicht einmal ein bestellter Satz Ersatzhandtücher wurden auf das Zimmer gebracht, also selber die Putzfrau gesucht. Am Pool stand auch nach 2 Tagen noch immer das abgeräumte Geschirr mit Essenresten hinter der Poolbar. Der Pool sollte bis 5 Uhr offen sein, jedoch um 16:20 baute der Poolmann die Sicherheitsnetze um den Pool herum auf um dann frühzeitig im Gebäude sein Schichtende zu erwarten. Unglaublich trifft es ganz gut.

Business Trip for one night. Very friendly hotel staff. Dinner and breakfast magnificant. The rooms, especially the bath room seem a little bit old, but for one night completely OK.

At first we were very disappointed in the condition of our room and bathroom. It was not at all like the pictures. We then spoke to manager Aviva who was amazing and she explained that the hotel was under renovation and showed us the new floors. It was unfortunate that we did not experience the new rooms but would definitely try again in future. Beautiful pool, great food and very friendly staff! Walking distance to restaurants and the Marina.

It was convenient and priced well. It was very dirty in a number of paces. The hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. Room and bathroom was superficially clean. Some of items on breakfast buffet on the first day looked less than fresh

Great location. Needs a full refurbishment.

The hotel whole hotel is in desperate needs of modernisation and refurbishment. The interior is worn, all the carpets are stained and dirty on the corridors on every floor. The rooms are worn and tired. The air conditioning needs modernising. The gym is poor. The pictures on the website have been airbrushed. I've stayed here many times in many rooms and they are not like this.
