The hotel was very nice. But the booking is such a headache to process. We booked though Travelocity, and due to the hotelâs no free cancellation policy, we had to pay the cost ahead, which is fine. But when we checked in the hotel, we were told that we had to pay again. By the time we checked out, there was no power and WiFi, canât use the same credit card as the one we paid with before. So we paid off with WeChat pay ( popular in China ), and of course it has no receipt from the hotel. Called the owner that lives in another city, and was told the amount you paid before was just a deposit hold in third party and you will get a refund (we had two separate bookings for two days). We are back in United States a week later now, and havenât seen any refunds processed yet. I guess I have to though credit card company disputes. Such a headache experience for this kind of booking. All other 18 days in China with other hotel bookings were excellent with Travelocity. I guess it was just this hotelâs policy. I wonât recommend this hotel.
