Just a stop in a road trip. The location was good for us but there isnât much in the neighborhood.
The grill restaurant was ok but the breakfast began too late for us (8 in the morning), we were far away at that time! Wish it could start earlier.
Historic inn, so everything in the furnishings was vintage- cool feel but as such wasn't perfect, the shower heads are super low, water pressure was great. No A/C it was in the 90s during the day for our stay however with a window open and cieling fan on the room cooled off just fine. Awesome fact sheets about the historic property too. Had restaurants on property, but did not get a chance to eat there.
Rooms are modest and small. Bathrooms are dated.
This was our second stay. First time we stayed in room 201. We thought it was small until this (2nd) time when we were in room 202 that was even smaller. (No room for a dresser). But, the proximity to our events was perfect both times.
Everyone is so incredibly nice and helpful. Great dining or snack options. Not very far from Carbondale if more options are needed for others. I enjoyed walking through Historic Redstone and visiting the shops. Very peaceful and relaxing.
