We left Paris for Budapest, where we would arrive at 11:45 p.m. The flight left Paris at 9:30 p.m. In Budapest, it was around 0 degrees. Even though we had pre-checked in, swiped our credit card, and received check-in instructions and passwords, at 8 p.m. we received an email saying that the hotel could not accommodate us even though we had paid for the accommodation in advance.
My family and I were on the street at 0 degrees at midnight.
I do not recommend it. They are not honest or trustworthy. Do not stay at this place. It is no good.
I thank Expedia (hoteis.com) for all their efforts to accommodate us in another hotel. We spent an hour on the line with the attendant in the US and he did everything he could. I am extremely grateful for their attention.
I never want to hear anything about this hotel again. It is no good. They are not trustworthy and they are dishonest.
