We stayed as a family of 3, son's first time in Rome. The hotel suited our needs for our 3 day (4 night) trip. We stayed in a triple room. Son said his bed was a bit soft, though he slept well. I found the big bed a little hard. We could have done with a side table for him and a few drawers for clothes. I found the shower/bath a bit high to get in/out of. We only did breakfast once - it was nice sit sit on the terrace. We sat up there in the evening too, which was nice. The hotel is a fairly short walk from the main sights in quiet cobbled street, it felt quite safe. We managed to do the Coliseum, Palatine Hill, the Forum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps in our 3 days, even with queueing for tickets. There are some nice places to eat by the Coliseum and by the hotel. The burger place opposite the hotel is good, though quite small and you need be prepared to wait. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and sorted our airport transfers, both ways. They even checked that our transfer had picked us up on leaving, as the driver was a bit late due to a marathon taking place. Be aware - allow plenty of time to go through the airport (Fuimicino) - Passport Control is just before the departure gate (which was another trek to get to once through) - we nearly missed our plane as we weren't aware, along with many others. Overall, we had a great time and would stay in this hotel again if we ever return to Rome.
