I arrived shortly after 3 pm which is the usual check-in time, however, I was told that no rooms would be available until 5:30p. Check out time would remain at 11am and not adjusted for the delayed check-in, which is disappointing.
Well considering I wasn't even able to stay after making a reservation and showing up after I 35 mi trip the guy at the front desk informed me that there's no available rooms went online when I made my reservation there was one room left so he said that that one had already sold so it sold within 40 minutes of me getting there he offered me another room after telling me that there were no more rooms in it offered me at $85 when online it was supposed to be $51 then it just told me to leave terrible service will never go back.
The room smelled horrible. The bed sheets had stains and it was like pulling teeth to get a new one. They only gave us one towel and refused to give more until the next day. The bed was wore out and you could feel every spring in it
I got there early and they wouldnât check me in. But check-in wasnât till 3:30 I got there at 1:30. They couldnât find my reservation and tried to charge me more than hotels.com stated. They finally agreed to charge what was stated. Room was supposed to be a queen size bed but it was a full size mattress on a queen frame and boxspring. The bed sheets had cigarette burn holes in them. I went to call the front desk to find out the WiFi password to find the phone was not connected. The TV remote had no batteries in it. There was one small towel in the room. When I went down to ask for more towels they said they couldnât get any and had to wait for housekeeping. I stood 3 nights and housekeeping never came into the room to give more towels or change the sheets or even make the bed. I told all this to the front desk (which by the way they didnât let anyone in the lobby so you spoke to them through a little window outside) they had a sign posted on the window âUnable to cancel after 15 minutes of check in. Guess that should have been my first warning. I guess the old adage is true. You get what you pay for.
I had to stay there because it was all I could afford. The mattress was worn out and needed turning. The pillows were flat and totally worn out. There was no hot water when I went to take a shower. There was nothing for me to hang my clothes in or on. There was no room service. I had one towel and one wash rag. There were only a few channels to watch on the television and none of them were any that I like to watch. I didnât have a good experience at all other than having a place to sleep out of necessity.
