Overpriced and got overcharged
The rooms are ok, but do not fit the bill for a 4 star accommodation. There is not even a safe in the room. They offer a safe at the reception, but this does not really provide you with the feeling your stuff is as safe as if it would be locked up in your room.
The rooms are done up to a reasonable standard. It feels like there was only a limited budget available to upgrade the rooms; it definitely focussed on looks over quality. We where staying for only 1 night and although it did not look at all as if the hotel was full, they put us in the worst room right next to the road, in front of the pool gate slamming closed everytime someone walked through. This woke us up several times. The windows at the front/back are the thinest possible and the front door does not close properly, which means every sound from outside can be heard as if it happend inside the room.
At final check out they did not provide a bill; this would be sent by e-mail. They did not confirm any additional charges would be applied, so I guess I did not ask. I did not receive the bill untill after I chased this myself and it turned out to have extra charges for items that we DID NOT use. After confronting the hotel with this they have managed to completely ignore me. The extra charges where minor, but wrong is wrong and I hope to still get the money back. It has been 2/3 weeks already...
This hotel is definitely not worth paying extra for; there will be better options available for a lower price.
