This was the worst hotel experience Iâve ever had.
First, the âinnâ is a small building on a very busy street. Very hard to find, and parking is very difficult.
There is no staff on site, no elevator, very steep stairs, and no fire escape that I could find.
The wifi didnât work. I called the hotel (since there is no staff there) and spoke with Tiffany, who told me she âmanages the hotel from home because âIâm busy taking care of six kids, I will try to get there in a few hours to check the wifiâ. When I explained that I needed to get online for a meeting, she said âthen you should go to a coffee shopâ.
If this wasnât bad enough, the room I had faced a very busy intersection â cars were literally 30 feed from my window, honking at each other day and night. The âinnâ is downtown, with lots of restaurants and bars around it, so there is noise nearly all day and night. The hotelâs approach to this problem: they provide earplugs for guests.
The stay-at-home-mom/manager refused to give me a refund (âbecause we require seven days notice for refundsâ) and was extremely unpleasant to speak with.
Additionally, there is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. I have a hip problem and walking up and down the stairs was difficult.
Parking is in a dirty and scary alley, and most of the spaces are full (donât know whether theyâre hotel guests or not). I wouldnât want to be going to the alley late at night, and the inn conveniently doesnât mention tha
