Overal, a great place to stay on your citytrip to Rome:
* most tourist highlights are reachable on foot and for the ones a bit further away: there's a bus stop 2 minutes away with connections to nearly everywhere
* the personnel is very friendly and helpful
* the room itself is quite pleasant, with minimalistic, but quality furnishing
* the street is very busy, but with the windows closed yoo simply don't hear any noise
* there's hand soap/shower gel and shampoo provided
* the prices for the mini bar are definitely one of the lowest I've ever seen.
The devil is in the details though: there's definitely room for improvement.
* the room wasn't vacuumed as often as it should've been: I'm not a clean freak, but when I needed to pick something from the floor even I noticed a lot of dust and crumbs along the wall
* the toilet pot was severely cracked at the bottom to the point my husband was afraid to rest his whole weight on it
* not sure how often bedlinnen was changed (again, not a clean freak and I don't mind sleeping on the same sheets for a couple of days), but I found the fact that the duvet was just put BETWEEN 2 bedsheets instead of IN a duvet cover very unhygienic
* there were no glasses in the bathroom, we had to use a tea mug to brush our teeth
* one of the cupboards was missing a handle
* the walls are paper thin: we could hear our neighbours, especially when their kids were arguing, it was like they were in the same room
