We booked this property for a wedding we were attending. A couple of weeks before we tried to cancel as better accommodations closer to the wedding venue opened up at lower prices. We were then informed that the 13 day advertised cancellation did not apply if you book through a third party like Expedia. By treating Expedia customers differently (worse) than booking direct, I would never book this property through Expedia. To make matters worse, when I tried to cancel even the second night, the property management company told me to call Expedia and Expedia told me to call the property management company. We then just spent one night and lost money on the second night.
It was good that we spent only 1 night because the beds were so uncomfortable and lumpy that I woke up in excruciating pain that has now lasted 4 days.
The final bait and switch came with the parking situation. While the property is advertised to have “on sight parking” they don’t tell you that is for one car only. We had 3 cars, one for each room, and we had to shuttle 2 of them to an unsecured parking lot more than half a mile away. What was most infuriating about that was that there were dozens of open spaces next to the building an when we begged to let us leave cars there the attendant denied the request and threatened to boot or tow our extra cars if we used two of the open spaces. Hi I write this to warn those interested in the property as to the parking situation and uncomfortable beds.
