When I first arrived at the property after a long drive, there was only one person in the lobby front, which is understandable. She was on the phone explaining breakfast policy to another potential customer for quite a while. She apologized for the wait and proceeded with my check-in. I finally got the room and went upstairs, expecting a nice clean accommodation.
When I opened the door, it was an occupied room: the room was not cleaned and there was a luggage. Thankfully there was not anybody in the room. This was my first time having such experience. I went all the way back to the lobby and requested another room after telling her the situation. I feel like I did not get the appropriate apology, but I was too tired for a quarrel. She only switched the room.
The quality of the room cleanness was quite poor: some hair left in the bathroom floor and in the shower, and it led me doubt the bedding hygiene.
Overall my experience with Alex72 was far below par especially after reading all the nice comments left on the hotels.com review.
