The property overall is beautiful, and the location is great. The check-in staff were confrontational and rude, which was a common theme with all staff throughout our stay. The room was about a 7 minute walk from reception. My room key was not working, so we used my wife's key. The room was on the ground floor and was moldy, smelly, damp and safe was pre-locked (no code) No other issues with the room. I called the front desk to help with my room key and open the safe. They asked me to stay in the room and wait for someone to come. No one came and after 2 hours, I called again and they said someone will come, but no one came at all that day. I called the next day and again, no one came. So I went to reception myself to get it resolved. Eventually it was resolved after 3-4 back-and-forth trips to reception. This experience was indicative of the overall stay. Staff generally didn't care, rude when spoken to, not helpful, bluntly asking for tips if you ask any question. Food options were plenty, but overall food quality and taste was below average. There are limited vegetarian options, and no Kosher/Halal options. In my opinion, the hotel is more targeted towards adults (not families). Our pre-teen kids enjoyed some aspects, but the options are extremely limited (and much smaller in real-life). Theme nights are adult oriented, certain areas in the beach/pool/restaurants/check-in...etc. are adults only. Overall, not the greatest for kids.
