One of Europe's best Hostels
Ideal for winterbreak city of Sevilla. I decided to spend my last week of the year here. One of the reasons I chose this hostel, because it is located in the middle of the historical city centre (Barrio de Santa Cruz). I loved the old historic design of the building and the Jewish quarters it's located in, it's just beautiful to walk through. The Hostel is very social and ideal for Solo travellers who are trying to meet new people, they have a free evening dinner every single night, which is a good way to connect to fellow travelers. The staff is very friendly and hospitable and try to do their best to make you feel at home within their "family". Every day a different morning, afternoon and night activity is planned, you're free to choose to join the events or not. I recommend doing at least one them. Like e.g. a free walking tour or a peek at a Flamenco show.
Some considerations:
The backroom at the reception needs some decorations on the walls, it's very plain compared to other parts of the hostel. In winter times a bit cold during the evenings. And the air conditioners can use a cleaning (hygiene-wise), other than that it's pretty clean. The 8p-dormroom beds weren't my cup of tea. They we're a bit too soft and provide almost no support for the back. My dormroom was right next to the street, so it might be a bit noisy, but they provide free earplugs, so use them.
Other than that it's pretty amazing, made a few new friends there.
