Five days in Berlin was very cool except for the hotel.
On day two, the airco stopped working and it got very hot in the room. The gentleman from the frontdesk checked it out and claimed it was broken and the technitians should check it out next day. The next day came, and after querying nobody knew anything about it. Eventually we got the message "it is a seasonal airco, thus it is turned off now. Please use the central heater".
Issue #2, we had two keycards. But only the card of the Mrs worked, mine did not. I got a new card TWICE, but still not working. "You probably grabbed the card from antother guest" was the reply, We gave up after that remark...
Issue #3: There is a light you can turn on so they would make up your room. We trew the towels on the floor, lit the light and went out. In the evening, towels were still wet on the floor and the make-our-room-light was still on. Front desk finally sent someone over after much pushing from us. They simply barged in and still with their street-shoes on continued to the bathroom.
Issue #4.... when checking out we suddenly had to pay Euro 85 for the parking. Uhmmm that was not on the website, not even on the website of the hotel itself and when we checked in we asked about parking and no-one told us it costs money... so we simply refused to pay this.
Btw: It is on the website now !!! I Guess they changed it after many more complaints.
Anyway; The room was ok, the staff friendly, but not really helpful.
