We stayed in the Raspberry Room, and it was delightful! Everything was super clean, and there were so many amenities. I appreciated that the coffee, tea, soap, and even art on the walls were from local artists/businesses around Bayfield/Washburn. It was also a super quick walk to town and the water. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

The room was cute and very clean. Had the option to buy the art work in the room. Most items in the room were from local shops and enjoyed the organic/natural shampoo and soaps provided. Greatly enjoyed the sauna!

I don't believe that there's a kitchen available. They do have in-room coffee maker, coffee, electric tea kettle and tea bags. There's also a small fridge and microwave.

This was a perfect spot in Bayfield to stay. It was my first time staying in an INN. Quiet, quaint, beautiful. Very clean and decorated beautifully. Exceeded my expectations. 10/10 highly recommend.

A nice rejuvenated home with basically 3 apartments. Most everything was fine. There is some tipping and broken walkway leading up to the entrance and the landing is also uneven. The passkeys were offered timely...all locks worked well. The neatest part of our stay was the location....exactly why we booked it and within 6 blocks of everything we wanted to see!!! The stairs to the upstairs are steep with a bend at the top. Would not work well for any person with difficulty walking or doing steps. There were only two of us and certainly room for more. The bathroom offers a lot....but it's kinda crammed in there. TV, coffee maker, and everything we used/needed worked fine. We Truly enjoyed our little stay in Bayfield.....and this location along with adequate available parking made it perfect. Neatly decorated with a variety of artwork. GREAT STAY!

The property is small, but very clean and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and everything was updated in the room. The property also has a deck with four chairs very nice and quiet back there. The owners were quick to respond to all of our needs, and the property is very walkable right in the middle of everything. We would definitely stay again.

This house was perfect for the 5 of us staying in Bayfield for a girls' trip!! It was SO cute, we all had our own beds, the full kitchen was so handy, and patio was perfect in the mornings & evenings(: Location is ideal; everything in town is within walking distance and parking was a breeze. The owners were so kind, great at communicating, and gave some excellent recommendations for restaurants!!! 10/10 stars!!

The Great Water Inn

Everything about our stay at the Great Water Inn was exceptional! Although small, the rooms were very well organized with some tasty artwork! The place was thoroughly clean, the bed itself was very comfortable and we loved the organic cottons and organic toiletries! Soaps and shampoos were very nice! The location was ideal and within walking distance to Lake Superior, shops, music opportunities and dining! We took advantage of several recommendations by the owners; Hoops for delicious fresh fish, Mannypenny for a variety of breakfast's, both within walking distance, and a short drive to Good Thyme for fine dining was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others! We will be back in the future!

Excellent place to stay

Old house that has been converted to hotel. Just a few rooms. Located next to the Bayfield museum. Very quiet. No one on duty, but outstanding response to questions. You get an email with front door and room code to get in. Good size room, several pieces of furniture, a gas fireplace, Roku TV,(don’t like!). The bed has a high quality mattress and bedding. Absolutely comfortable. Packer coffee as well as local ground coffee. Teas and tea pot. The bathroom has a shower, and a jetted tub. We were completely impressed with the overall cleanliness and condition of the room. The jetted tub was spotless, the vanity did not have a scratch on it. Not a speck of dirt, scum, or mold anywhere. Absolutely would come back Only 1 1/2 blocks from the Manypenny restaurant, which was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner.

Inside the house was very cute and quaint. It was very clean and tidy. We did not use the sauna, but it looked very well maintained. We parked in the back which has two flights of outdoor stairs to the house. There were little choke cherries on the stairs so you had to be very careful not to step on one and slip. The house is centrally located to the lake, groceries, and local gift stores. All around great location and cute place to stay. I would recommend.

Great location in the heart of town. Easy access with coded door locks on building and room entrances. Lots of nice little touches like coffee and tea and small refrigerator in room, brochures for things to do, some games and books, local information on restaurants and and museums, and friendly and accessible renters to answer questions. A great stay!

It's all about the location! Absolutely perfect area. Walking distance to all shops, restaurants and activities. It's an older home and we had a small room. Worked well for us and for the amount of time that you're actually in the room. A little cozy at times but we managed. Would recommend to friends who like to explore.

We will stay here again and again! The room was immaculate, and the amenities of local coffee and tea, and good quality shower supplies were a nice surprise. You can tell the owners care about their guests, but also care a great deal about the property. The room was quiet and we were able to relax. The jacuzzi tub was perfect after a long hike. The location is just a short walk from shopping and restaurants too!
