Ripplecove Hotel & Spa

Ripplecove Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"My husband and I came here for a relaxing getaway right after our wedding. The property itself was very nice, clean, cozy, and quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. The main reason we chose this hotel, however, was for the spa and a couples massage. Unfortunately, booking a massage was quite difficult, as appointments need to be booked directly with the massage therapist, who is often unavailable to speak because she is with another client. We called about a week before our stay and were told she would call us back. After not hearing back, we called again and were told she was in a massage and would call us afterward. When she eventually called, the connection was unfortunately so poor that we could barely hear her. When we arrived, we asked the front desk about booking our massages but were told they could not access the spa schedule and that we would need to wait until the massage therapist was available. By the time we were able to connect, there were no couples massage appointments available, which was the main reason we had chosen the hotel. Overall, the property is lovely, but I think a more accessible and streamlined system for booking spa treatments would greatly improve the experience!"

"This lovely bed and breakfast inn in a wonderful lake town is run by friendly people who make one's stay comfortable and quiet. Many reviews we had read mentioned the great breakfasts prepared by the host and we were not disappointed. Really delicious and innovative food, much of it locally grown or priduced was presented in a lovely manner. We also had a comfortable room with nice amenities.
