"Palace long hai was the perfect retreat after a good Vietnam holidays touring from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh. Right from the welcoming reception at the resort by Van (Natalie) to the wonderful bell Tuan to the nice Tuong in the restaurant, every one was so good. The resort has a fabulous swimming pool and the cottages are very nice. Opposite the resort is the Long hai beach, which is very clean. Overall we stayed two nights . Highly recommended."

However it was disappointing to find that the provision of a shuttle to drop you and pick you up within a 5 km radius along with the loan of a local phone to call reception for pick ups had been discontinued. Those facilities played a big part in why chose The Wind Resort. Also breakfast was a slightly random setup. 2 days/wk it was self serve buffet style and you could order frozen a cooked menu but the other 5 days you had to spend order everything the day before. However breakfast was plentiful so never went hungry."

I was told that it will turn off at night, but all night long can hear the water that comes can’t sleep well. Another thing, the room temp can be set @22C. But it is so hot and I can’t set it any lower."
