Unfortunately, I am not able to write a good review about our stay, and I don't mean this personally, but I thought that it would be a service to others if I mentioned a few things which the operators/managers could address which would improve future guests' stays.
From the very beginning when trying to make the booking, I experienced challenges, and this continued at check-in time when the prior 'work' to get the right room, had not even been noted on the computer, causing the check-in person to ask questions and assign a room from scratch.
I found the accent difficult to understand and the instructions about paying an additional fee were confusing and unnecessary. The place does not accept PayWave, so a physical card or cash are required.
The room had few power points and there were multiple items plugged into a single power point, which could not have all worked. Exposed wiring was prevalent.
Worst of all was the bed which was lumpy causing me and my partner one of our worst sleeps in memory.
The place is showing its age and is desperately in need of a makeover to bring it into the 20th century. The price charged for the room was way above its value, by a factor of 2!
