great location, helpful and kind staff that gave recommendations, could’ve been better with directions and instructions but wasn’t too hard to figure out. rooms were cozy, but if you’re a couple wanting to share a bed you have to push them together but it worked out fine!

This place was fantastic!! Hospitality, communication, friendliness and space, plus the setting Only challenge was FINDING IT - but because the communication was so great it then didn’t become a problem I recommend mentioning that guests download google maps not Apple Maps to find the place An important detail I truly hope to come here again and for longer Food truck is an amazing idea!!

Good Experience.

It's not what we've expected it to be but it is good. The staff are friendly and nice. The accommodation is ok. We didn't see a milky way. It was full moon too so .

You Have Got to Go Glamping at Wander Camp Idaho

Stay was amazing! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Kenny and Rachel (of Wander Camps) made our stay perfect! Camp was clean and beds were sooooo comfortable. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back. BTW, loved the cows who live near camp and came to visit. Never smelled them either!

There was nothing really wrong with the place… the tent was clean and orderly, nothing was deficient. Shower and restrooms were a little crude, but for inexpensive glamping just outside Yellowstone, it was just fine. Property grounds were a little crude, but not a problem. Not glamorous, but no complaints with the stay or meeting of expectations.

Personal grills are not permitted at this location. Small communal campfire area is available for use. While this shared space can be convenient, some campers prefer privacy and enjoy doing things independently rather than communally—especially when camping.

Camp host was excellent. Tents were clean. Restroom and shower facilities were clean but folks with mobility issues would have a hard time using them. Promised food trucks were not available the days of our stay. This is not glamping. This is simply camping where someone else sets up your tent and bed.

I like it because it was out of town and into the woods. You can see the Star at night. If you like to live off grid. This is perfect for you. It's like camping all over again as a kid.

The bed was comfortable. Tents are small. There is little else here. Washrooms are mobile units with 3 steep steps that are not senior nor handicapped friendly. There are no cooking facilities, no hot tub, and the food truck we were told would be there, was not. Yellowstone Glamping, now Wander Camp, is definitely not “Glamping”.

I really liked that the staff was kind to send me the location of the tent assigned to me and how easy was the check in process. The only issue I had was that the night got very cold and the heater provided for a fee lasted a few hours. Other than that it was better than I expected.

Very nice host! Bathrooms smelled so bad I had to hold my breath. Bed was comfy. It was so wet and cold we couldn’t sleep. We rented a heater for an additional $27.50 that only ran a few hours and didn’t warm the room. This should be included for how expensive it was to stay.

Remote, off the grid. Provided with propane heater for tent. I was still freezing lol. However, not really their fault. I loved being out in nature in a comfortable bed. Only complaint, when temperatures are expected to be low, warn customers to have warm PJ’s and extra blankets.

This is our first time camping since 30years ago. We enjoyed this experience; the camping tent inside is clean; bugs free and a lot of room to move around. The bathroom is clean as well; it is bit far from our tenant; then we drove to it before bedtime:) It is a bit chill from 3am to 8am; please bring a jacket. We did not need a heater. Camp site also offered heaters. They also offered breakfast and dinner with extra $. It is 20 minutes from the west side of Yellow Stones entrance. I saw full sky of stars at 3am last night :) Will recommend to others who enjoy camping. It is safe; only cows around the tenants. Road is a bit bumpy. Then we rented a SUV.

The yurts were beautiful, the staff was hardeorking and friendly. However, the website does not tell you how rustic it is. There is no potable water, no electricity. They charge you extra for heat. The "showers" are a pull string, meaning you have to pull a chain to get the water, if you let go, no water. Very difficult to rinse shampoo and soap off when you cant use your hands. "Shared" bathroom is 3 working showers for up to 120 people. Roads are very rough, not suitable for smaller cars. The food truck was very slow, $3 for watered down folgers. You can do your own coooking, but the area to do that is far away from sleeping quarters. Very little space. There were only 4 tables for 39 to 40 yurts to share. We couldnt find an empty table for our cookstove or open firpit to cook at dinner time. There is not a place to wash dished you have cooked with.

Glamping?

This was our first glamping experience so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I don’t know where the tent photo on the site was taken but none of the tents on site were that large. Ours had a king bed which was comfortable and two chairs. The only place you could stand up was in the middle of the tent and the ground was really rough so you have to do a lot of staggering around inside the tent. There are cold pull chain showers in portable bathrooms but no hot water and no towels provided. It was a cold night but you could rent a propane heater for $35. The camp host said it would run for two hours at night and 2 in the morning but we got only 2 hours total before it ran out of fuel. There is no electricity on site and you have to take poorly maintained gravel roads to get there. We ended up with a 4x4 pickup because the car we rented was not available and we had to put it in four wheel to get to the camp which is poorly marked and has a different name, camp wander, than it was listed on the site. It is also about a half hour from the Yellowstone West Gate so the Yellowstone Glamping is a misnomer in more than one way. It is rough camping with an upgrade to an actual bed instead of a sleeping bag. Maybe partly our fault for not understanding what Glamping meant .
