Så trevligt bemötande av ägare och personal - mycket bra service. Läget är helt suveränt med nära till allt. En härlig gård att hänga på. Frukosten var god och med härligt hemtrevlig känsla. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

Very good experience. They were helpful from before check-in making sure we knew the ins and outs of getting there. We were arriving in car, but they helped us find a garage and made sure we had an easy check-in. Everybody was so friendly and the breakfast was a total homely experience. 5/5 would recommend to everyone who comes to Ortigia.

I think your experience might depend on the room you get. Our room, off the kitchen was tight- hard to navigate as 2 people with small suitcases, bed was awkward to get into, bathroom door is particle board and shower was small. The courtyard area is shared with other families but nice to have somewhere to sit outside. The hosts seemed nice but I think they were away most of the weekend. Central location.

Staff was very helpful with all their recommendations. Nice bonus was transportation to hotel. Hotel itself was cosy, room was clean and bed was good, air conditioning was very effective. Nice breakfast.

Alloggio molto bello e curato. I proprietari gentili e disponibili. Accolgono gli ospiti con calore e dedizione . Tutto perfetto anche nei particolari come un vassoio con generi di benvenuto . Grazieeeee

Maria, Andrea, Derique and his wife (with a very old dog) were delightful hosts, who made every effort to make a stay pleasant! The hotel is very well located right in the center of the town (a bit challenging to drive to, if you have car!). And, breakfast was always great, with plenty of freshly made cappuccinos.

6/10 – Goed

Fantastic location, very good value including an unexpected and generous breakfast. Great air-conditioning. Lovely hosts. Very small room downstairs, with no room to get in the bed apart from clambering over the base. Terrible acoustics with no sound barrier to the nearby kitchen, or upstairs with all its plumbing and associated noises. Sounded like a herd of baby elephants above. Earplugs necessary.

Amazing place to stay! Modern, cute, and clean and close to everything! Only thing was water seeping out from the side of the toilet or floor faucet but other than that everything was perfect!

First of all, this is NOT a hotel, it’s a B&B. This needs to be more clear on the website. We wouldn’t have booked had we known this. This completely affected our expectations. This trip all came down to communication. There is a second “Hotel” with the same name. This was not made clear prior to us wandering the back alleys dragging our luggage trying to find the entrance. We ended up at the wrong location…after sorting out where we needed to be, the hosts were quite friendly and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room and common area are nice and we made the best of our stay. This just wasn’t a good fit for our preferences. If we had known more about how limited the street access is for this property, we probably would not have booked.

Sympa !

Le seul point négatif est le bruit tardif des cuisines du restaurant situé dans la cour.

Help from Andrea with nearby parking and transport with luggage to/from Ortigia was excellent. Also breakfast staff member was super helpful. The property itself is tired and in need of upgrades. There is a totally inadequate space for breakfast seating, with no dedicated tables or chairs and no easy access back into reception area if guests are seated at basic outdoor sofas.

Even though we’ve traveled to Italy for decades, this was our first visit to Sicily—and to Ortigia—and it turned out to be unforgettable. While the charm and rich history of the town speak for themselves, what truly made this trip exceptional was the warmth and genuine hospitality of Maria and Andrea, and the comfort of the space they’ve so thoughtfully created. Words fall short in capturing how welcome, cared for, and at home we felt during our stay. It was, without question, one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had—one we will cherish for years to come. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Sicily. Very cosy and picturesque location in a small quiet backalley supercentral in Ortigia, and a beautiful small hotel. The staff was also very friendly and helpsome!
