The decor is out of the 80's, the room was ok, it had ac, a restaurant, all closes down about 9, we had a good experience , wanted to see a bear but no luck however there was evidence left behind outside our window.

This is a seasonal, rustic lodge. As long as you go into it knowing that it is a convenient spot to see Kings Canyon from. There's a restaurant and small store at the lodge that really are convenient. I would stay there again, but understand it is about like staying in a camper that has a/c and a bathroom. There's nothing luxurious about it.

A little more selection at the restaurant grill would make this more appealing. Food was good but not enough selection. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Overall it was a good experience.

Unbeatable location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room with good AC, and RIVER VIEW. Great experience staying here.

It has comfortable beds and goid heater and AC. Shower had mildew and mold on the bottom of the door and around the metal frame. It looked like no one had swept under the beds for awhile. The restaurant had recently been very busy and was out of a lot of menu items while it waited for a truck to arrive. We enjoyed two Ranger talks during our visit.

Beautiful setting right next to a river. It's about as far as you can go into the national park. Restaurant food was great! No fridge or microwave. No TV. But who needs a TV in a national park?!

Nice, rustic lodge with super helpful staff. It’s not the Ritz but it’s a great option if you want to see the Canyon and surrounding areas and have a comfy/bed and shower at the end of the day. The food was very good and the convenience store was great!

The lodge is about 30 miles from the park entrance on mountain roads so much less crowded, quieter, ready to enjoy nature. The lodge is old and small but our room was clean and comfortable. Shower and air conditioning in working order with wifi, no TV. The lodge is next to the river, the grill is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there is a market in the building. We enjoyed our visit.

Staff not connected to service. No coffee yet pask sold in the shop . Was not a restaurant was a fast food system. Plastic sheets over matress, like in a old folks home.

Basic accommodations, nothing fancy, but perfect for exploring the area. The location is unbeatable - right on the river! With the market and little restaurant, we had everything we needed. I would happily stay here again!

Outstanding location. Hanging by the river was great. Simple room. No tv and spotty internet. Snack bar food was excellent. Definitely would stay again.

Boiler went out and no hot water in the rooms. After hiking 4 days in the Back Country, Shower house tokens instead. :( other than that a Great Stay

We had a delightful stay. The room and property was super clean. It was located right on the river with a beautiful view and plenty of lounge chairs and picnic tables to relax and enjoy. They have a great market and restaurant on site with lots of food options. Staff was great, super friendly and helpful; in a location look perfect for exploring Kings canyon.
