First of all they did not have a room when I arrived and also told me that my card was declined by hotels.com which I new was not right. After chatting with a rep from hotels.com which I had to do standing at the check in window where there are no chairs (I am disabled and have the use of only one hand) the clerk finnaly said something in not very good English and handed me a key thru the slot in the window. I went to the room which had no tv, no towels and the heat/ac did not work. I was exhausted from the day so I played down on one of the beds and tried to rest for a while. There was all kinds of commotion going on in the parking lot so that did not work. Finnaly I just got back in my car and drove on to the place where I had a meeting and napped in my car until time to see who I was there to meet. I stay in a lot of hotels and honestly I have never experienced anything like this before. Especially when I booked through this website. I have not looked yet to see how much I was charged or anything like that and it really does not matter. That particular hotel should not even be a option on the web site, I do not know how a hotel gets listed here but I would suggest that they do a better job of selecting the properties they list. I have 25+ years in the hotel and hospitality industry and I have never seen a property so poorly managed and maintained and still be allowed to have a license to operate. There is clearly a breakdown somewhere in the system.
