Overall a great stay. Some issues with our room were dealt with by the manager at the end of our stay professionally. Staff around the pool and occasionally at breakfast are a little slow, forget orders and do not meet the highest expectations you would want given the price point of this hotel.

We recently spent 3 nights at Qualia Resort in early February 2024. The resort was breathtaking! We absolutely loved the staff and our Pavilion was extraordinary! We planned a fantastic excursion to the Great Barrier Reef via helicopter with a brief stop on Whitsunday Island's Whitehaven Beach. The resort has their own helipad. This resort is impeccable in every way and we cannot wait to return!

Without question, one of the best resorts in terms of staff and service. Everyone was dedicated to making our stay perfect and they succeeded. Qualia is a beautiful resort with great rooms and beautiful property but the staff make it outstanding. Don’t miss the trip to Whitehaven and Hill inlet. Food was excellent-enjoyed the daily breakfast which they will customize to your liking. We will definitely go back if we make it back to Australia.

qualia is one of the most beautiful properties we have visited. The setting, architecture, views, and atmosphere truly feel special and uniquely Australian. Our arrival experience was excellent. Noemi provided a warm airport pickup, smooth check-in, and a thoughtful overview of the property and room. The accommodations themselves were stunning. We also had an incredible “Best of Both Worlds” tour with Pedro, who was engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate about the island. It was one of the highlights of the trip. The main challenge during the first 24 hours was inconsistency in service attentiveness. At times, particularly at the pool and during our first dinner at Long Pavilion, service felt less proactive than expected for a property at this level. Drink refills, reservation follow-up, and simple check-ins occasionally required prompting rather than feeling naturally anticipated. What truly elevated the experience was the response from leadership. Rebecca, the General Manager, was exceptional: thoughtful, responsive, attentive, and genuinely interested in feedback. Her professionalism and accountability significantly improved the remainder of our stay. Beach Club dinner was another standout, with warm staff, relaxed pacing, and beautifully prepared food and cocktails. Overall, qualia delivers an extraordinary setting and many memorable moments. While there were some early service inconsistencies, the property’s beauty, excursions, dining, and strong leadership respon
