Het hotel heeft al onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Zeer vriendelijke en gehulpzaam personeel. Zwembad met jacuzzi en 's avonds prachtig verlicht. Mooi balkon met zeezicht. Heerlijke bedden en royale breedte. Echt om naar terug te keren.

Het hotel is op een unieke plaats gelegen in Sol: direct aan zee, op het draaipunt tussen het kleine stadje en de lange wandelpromenade onder de bomen naar Zlatni Rat, de Gouden Hoorn, het beroemdste strand van Kroatië. Het hotel ligt daarmee helaas ook aan de enige toegangsweg naar Bol, dus vooral 's ochtends is daar best wel veel verkeer. Het appartement dat ons toegewezen was, bleek teleurstellend. We wisten dat het geen zeezicht had, maar van een appartement hadden we meer sfeer verwacht. Dit leek het meest nog op een ingerichte garage, lang niet zo gezellig als de foto's op de site. Er was een klein beetje zeezicht, maar alleen een héél klein hoekje vanaf het (kleine) balkon. Dit alles zou nog geen probleem zijn, immers hoe vaak zit je binnen? Wat erger was: direct naast het slaapkamerraam stonden op een kleine binnenplaats 2 enorme airco's keihard te loeien! Vooral dit laatste was voor ons reden om de receptie te vragen of daar niet iets aan te doen was. De behulpzame dame liet ons meteen 2 alternatieve appartementen zien, waarvan we er één kozen. Dit was niet alleen veel ruimer en qua vorm veel gezelliger, maar had ook breeduit zeezicht en een ruim balkon, boven het terras waar 's ochtends de gasten hun ontbijt nemen. Gelukkig geen rokers beneden. Dit appartement was fijn! Moderne keuken, goede slaapkamer, goed bed, fijne inrichting van de woonkamer, perfect balkon. Het enige minpuntje is geen licht boven de keuken en geen sfeerlampen in de zithoek.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Sol. We had a one bedroom with ocean views and it was perfection! The hotel is perfectly located on the edge of town (5 min walk in) and at the start of the beautiful promenade to Zlatni Rat. The breakfast far exceeded our expectation and the pool was perfect too.

Great place to stay. Right across the road from the sea. Location is half way between the harbour and Rat beach. Clean, well appointed apartment in hotel which is modern without being flashy. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I'd recommend it for a couple to stay.

An excellent stay, the hotel is superb and has everything you could ask for. Modern, spacious, comfortable rooms with kitchen facilities and balcony, perfect location, a great selection of breakfast, easy to get to the top beaches and to the town centre, helpful staff. I would recommend this place.

Really well located hotel in the centre of Bol overlooking the sea. Lovely pool and sun-beds were very comfortable. Easy walk to a range of fabulous beaches and minutes on foot to bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is super clean and smells really lovely - they use an amazing scent in the corridors. The staff are incredibly helpful and patient.

Schönes 3-Sterne Hotel an toller Lage. Zimmer war für 3 Personen ausreichend gross, Balkon und Bad eher knapp, aber war in Ordnung. Frühstück und Service, Pool und täglich frische Tücher für den Strand waren top. Preis-Leistung hat absolut gepasst.

Underbart hotell på ett väldigt bra läge nära stränder och stadskärnan. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal, god frukost, och rymliga lägenheter. Kommer definitivt tillbaka igen!

The location was perfect, right where the promenade to Golden Horn begins. Our unit has an amazing view of the Adriatic. The desk staff were organized, helpful, and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous modern hotel with helpful staff and lovely rooms. The sea view was lovely as was the balcony. Really good location and a 25 min walk to the famous beach along a shaded promenade. Hotel is a 30 min drive from the main port in the North.

Really nice accommodation, clean, good location. We had a family room and it was very large and nicely furnished. Comfy beds! The only negative was that the aircon failed a colour nights, the only work around was that they put the aircon on all the time, but then we couldn’t turn off our bedroom light. So we were cool on our last night, but in full light lol. We would stay there again. I’m sure they will sort out the electrical issue.

Great location, at the sea at the start of the walking path, almost in the center of Bol but still very quiet, the road outside is almost not noticeable, little and slow traffic. Old hotel with quite some stairs but very well kept, fresh and nice. The pool was deep, perfect for swimming and water exercising even if not so big. Breakfast was great, very nice staff and good choice options, cooking upon request. Note, there is no restaurant at the hotel, no lunch or dinner or snacks, just breakfast (I think the bookingsites states restaurant). Great "library" for change of books. Our room was on the top floor, the shower was unfortunately overflowing when taking a shower, could not be fixed during the high season, so staff recommended towels to wipe the floor, worked well :-) The room was a bit untidy, dusty, in need of a proper clean up (behind furnitures etc) when season dropping. Comfy bed, nice sofa, wifi OK. Almost only German language TV-channels. All-in-all, this is a pure gem (pearl) for the price, staff and location in Bol, we highly recommend! Thank you Hotel Sol!
