When I arrived, I found out from the residents that this is an illegal rental property. I ended up refusing to stay here and found a hotel nearby. This listing should really be removed.

The only things that I’d complain about was the baseboards weren’t clean but it may be okay with others and the neighboring room would allow the door to close which woke us up several times the last night we were there. The location was great to get the experience and feel of the city. The staff was accommodating for an earlier check in and a little late on the check out!

It was perfect for us. The room was clean and the beds were great, we had a good nights sleep and the shower had great pressure. Thanks for everything.

Had to pay extra to check in after 10pm and, astonishingly, they changed extra for air conditioning! This added an extra €35 cost to my stay, which had to be paid for in cash only

Everything was fine with the accommodation, the apartment was new and fully equipped. The only downside is that the air conditioning is extra, 10 euros per day. It could be included in the daily rate. Otherwise, everything was fine.

If you are booking with hotels.com, make sure you read every single message sent through the app's messaging program. I book a lot of hotels with hotels.com and not many hosts in Canada use the messaging function. As I was travelling and had booked this last minute, I missed seeing several key communications from the host- some were sent via whatsapp which was great, I just didn't realize there were other communications in the inbox that contained important information such as "text the host 15 minutes before you arrive" as they don't live there, and "have cash on hand to pay the late arrival fee." There was an opportunity to mention these things in the whatsapp conversations that would have made check-in smoother for everyone. This is a 4 unit hostel-like environment in an apartment, which is what was expected. Although the people in the building were friendly, this accommodation is not legal, and there is a notice in the lobby to that effect. That may or may not be important to you, but you might want to be aware of this prior to booking.

We like that it was spacious and clean and had good lighting, unlike some other hotels. We did not like that it was an apartment and not a true hotel. We had a problem with the staff not getting back to us when they said they would.

This was a very nice property! It was close to the metro and had a lot of options for food and groceries nearby. You will be sharing the property with other people but I didn’t have any problems with that :)

Decent for price. Got stuck in the elevator and had to call the police to get out. Got screamed and cursed at by some random lady who lived in the apartment building.

Stay away from this property

I would highly recommend NOT staying at this property and finding a nearby hotel, even it might cost a few euro more. The details of the property are misleading, communication with the administration team is awful, and, all considered, it is overpriced. Unless you enjoy paying high prices to share a bathroom with 5 rooms, I'd search elsewhere.
