When I arrived at the Motel. I noticed the sign said no pets allowed. The door to the office was locked and it was late in the afternoon A lady opened the door and went behind the front desk and she seemed agitated but she continues to check me in and I asked her about the no pets allowed sign and she said they they didn't allow pets but I asked her than how come it's listed on the hotels.com website as dog friendly and I showed her that it was listed as dog friendly then she mentioned that she would have to ask her husband permission and he responded back saying that he would allow my dog if I paid an extra $25.00 fee and I did pay the fee and I was checked in. The motel was decent and roomy. There was a convenient store next door to the motel and there was a Mc Donald's and a Starbucks across the street from the motel. The place was usually quiet but there were occasional cars screeching tires and speeding down the road. When I checked out of the motel, I took my dog out to go the bathroom but he couldn't wait and he began to pee in a grave area in front of my room and the Manager saw me and he appeared to be very upset but I took my dog off the property and he pooped in the grass on the edge of the road near the motel then I cleaned up after my dog and I returned the key to the manager in the office and he snatched the keys out of my hand and said nothing as I left. I'm disappointed in my stay and I won't be returning to that property again.
