Although these apartments may look great on the internet, the proof is in the pudding. We rented an apartment for a full week with our young children during Christmas holidays. As the apartments can be rented per night (thus the name of the Company), it attrackts young, back packing and party focused youngsters who tend to overcrowd the apartments (with more than the allowed amount of guests per apartment), smoke in the building, taking prostitutes into the premises, coming home between 4 and 6am drunk and under heavy influence of drugs. Consequently, during our stay, guests had to be removed from their apartments by the police twice, as a result of heavy verbal fighting, the use of noisy fake alarms and drunk misbehaviour. The staff is not taking any responsibility for the behaviour of their customers. It seems they take this down side of renting per night as a calculated risk into their business model, and they did acknowledge the fact that this kind of events are common in their premises. Moreover, they have anticipated any liability, by taking the misconduct of customers into their terms and conditions and they fully hide behind this upon every complaint. As long as they call the police, and they do swiftly and constantly, they avoid legal liability so that they do not owe their customers, suffering from fear and unrest, any damage compensation. They acknowledged never to have refunded any body and refused to disclose the name of their manager for further escalation.
