If you’re looking for a hotel near Georgetown University Hospital the Hoya is the best option. Everything within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Only complaint…no microwave.

Our stay was great and the location is perfect as we were there for testing at MedStar Georgetown Medical Center. We were able to cross the street, and the hospital entrance was right there. The hotel had nice decor, and it was nice to see something different than the standard hotel room.

The location can't be beat. It is clear that the hotel just opened up again and there are few things to work out. There were some things missing from the room or not cleaned when we got there, but the staff took care of it right away. They were very responsive. Definitely plan to stay again.

Room nice size, clean, quiet. Staff very friendly. Check-in/out efficient. No indication on main road (ie: signage or directional arrow) as to where to turn to get to hotel. Address online is SAME as hospital. Website should state something like “enter at hospital parking #4. We are BEHIND the hospital”. Limited facilities/amenities nearby. Parking garage ($25/night) not secure - no ingress/egress control.

Hotel just opened after renovation and we stayed there because it's right next to the hospital and I had surgery in the morning. New rooms are very nicely decorated. We had an issue where our first room reeked of smoke so it took awhile to resolve but in the end the staff was very nice. Hoped for the restaurant to be open but it wasn't yet so we ate in the college food court connected.

Pro: Room was decent size. Shower was delightful. Beds were unusually comfortable for a hotel. Hotel is on Georgetown U campus, which is gorgeous. Everything very clean and modern. Price was very reasonable for DC. Con: SIGNAGE! How hard is it to put up a sign? There are no signs on the street or the building indicating the presence of a hotel. The hotel is hidden in a maze of the hospital and University buildings. We couldn't find it initially, Uber can't find it. Front desk told us to use the Cancer Ctr as a location when booking uber. Front desk staff very pleasant and very uninformed about the area. Don't know where any restaurants, coffee shops are. Don't know where the Metro/Bus stops are. Wifi signal is weak - 3rd floor room. Use room cards to activate elevators. System works intermittently.
